The Diploma of Management course is for people who are engaged to manage the work of others or to add value to or review management practices.
Their role may be in any area of the organisation. Typically people in these roles will have considerable experience in their respective industry coupled with an informed perspective of the specific work requirements with their managerial sphere of expertise.

Prerequisites
English, reading, writing and comprehension skills.
Ability to use and analyse simple data, relation and pattern, number, measurement and shape.
Ability to participate in small and informal groups within a virtual enterprise environment.
Assessment
This is based on a student's ability to perform specific skills and a combination of observation, discussion, written assignments, tests, examinations and practical application projects.
Students are required to attend tests and examinations as scheduled by BETA College.

Course Units
Five units from the core units and three elective units from the list below must be completed for this course.
The three elective units may be selected from the core or elective units listed below, the BSB07 Business Services Training Package or any other currently endorsed national Training Package. If not listed below, one unit may be selected from either a Certificate IV or Advanced Diploma qualification.
Elective units must be relevant to the work outcome, local industry requirements and the qualification level.
Units selected from other Training Packages must not duplicate units selected from or available within the BSB07 Business Services Training Package..
