General Safety Induction Course (Construction Industry)
This is an induction course that will provide new and existing building and
construction industry participants with introductory knowledge and understanding
necessary to commence or continue work in the building and construction industry.
It complies with the statutory requirements of the Workplace Health & Safety Act (1995) and you will now be able to enter a building site unless you have completed this course.

Dress Requirements
Construction attire appropriate to the construction sector and enclosed footwear.
Prerequisites: English, reading, writing and comprehension skills. Ability to use and analyse simple data, relation and pattern, number, measurement and shape.
Assessment
This is based on a student's ability to perform specific skills and a combination of observation, discussion, written assignments, tests, examinations and practical application projects.
Students are required to attend tests and examinations as scheduled by BETA College.
